It is not always easy quitting smoking, but there are several ways to deal with the condition. For instance, every time the urge comes; you can resort to a method called the distraction method. It’s a method that involves you doing “something else” other than smoking anytime the urge comes. It’s just like waiting out the craving until it fades away.
Well the first thing that you should do is to make a list of all of the reasons that you want to quit as well as a list of all of the things that smoking and tobacco can do to your body and your overall health. This tends to be a good reminder when things get hard and you are feeling like you can not go on. Keep this paper on you at ALL times and as you move forward on your journey to becoming smoke free, take it out from time to time to remind yourself why you decided to quit in the first place.
